Biggest Derby ever says Fergie as title race goes to wire
ALEX Ferguson and Roberto Mancini are bracing themselves for the biggest derby day in the history of Manchester and the Premier League.
After United's astonishing collapse against Everton while City dispatched Wolves to the Championship, Ferguson believes the title will be decided at Eastlands in seven days' time.
"This will be the biggest derby game in my time. There has been an expectancy from City that it could be their decider - but it's our decider too, now," said Ferguson.
Mancini continues to talk up United's title qualifications but nobody now believes that he has anything other than sarcasm on his mind.
"After the derby, United have two games which are not easy, but not difficult. It's not in our hands. We have three points less.
"In any case, you all wrote the title race was finished seven days ago," he said.
