'Bell to heap more blues on toiling Town

The Senior Division programme has been slimmed down to just one fixture tomorrow due to the LSL Intermediate squad's involvement in the FAI Inter-Provincial tournament in Cork.

Only Bluebell United's clash with Edenderry Town has survived the cull with these two meeting up at the Red Cow tomorrow afternoon.

For the Bell, tomorrow is the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways after drawing their last couple of games against St Pat's CY and Wayside Celtic. Their draw against Celtic last weekend, though, is certainly more a glass half-full scenario as not many in this league will leave Jackson Park with points.

A win tomorrow, though, will help the 'Bell make the most of their rivals' inactivity and leap a couple notches up the table into second place. Town have yet to win this season and the 'Bell will start the game as red-hot favourites to claim all the points.

Town are still seeking their first ever win in the top flight, but they are going to struggle to find it at the Red Cow. The Offaly side managed a couple of draws in the first five games, but that first win has eluded them. They have lost their last three and tomorrow that run could stretch out a little further.
