BB's Noirin banking on love with her mystery man
Big Brother star Noirin Kelly has confirmed that she is off the market -- after falling for one of Ireland's most eligible bachelors.
The pretty Cabinteely girl (27) has confirmed that she is seeing a former banker whom she met in celebrity hotspot Krystle. But she says her new beau won't be taking the 'Wesley Quirke route' -- being best known as a socialite's partner.
And news of the relationship comes despite reports that Noirin was seeing Aston Merrygold of boyband JLS.
Noirin said: "I met him straight after I came out of the Big Brother house -- it was nearly my first night out in Dublin. He was chatting me up but I had just come out of another relationship with Isaac so I wasn't that interested, but my friend thought he was lovely and took his number for me.
Charmer
"We met at a party again and things went from there."
The former Dunnes Stores manager was labelled as a man-eater during her stint on the Channel 4 reality show, but has since shown she's happy to be in a serious relationship with a sweet guy: "He's a real charmer. He's a very kind person and would do anything for anybody. We have a great friendship, which is probably why our relationship works -- our personalities are very alike," she said.
"I've a strong personality and he's well able to handle me -- I like guys who are confident. But we talk to each other about 10 times a day and meet up whenever I'm back from London. He's coming over to visit me in London next weekend."
While out and about on the Dublin social scene, there's no chance of the pair becoming the latest celeb couple about town.
"I don't really talk about him because he's not interested in being known as my boyfriend -- he won't pose for photos with me or anything. He doesn't want to become well-known the way Wesley Quirke did for going out with Rosanna -- he would hate it."
While the couple look forward to a skiing trip together in the new year, Noirin says her new man laughs off any reports of her dating other men.
"He doesn't take any of that seriously -- there's no jealously. But since we're constantly in contact with each other, he knows there's nothing going on."
