Battle for €3.4bn Intel deal that could create creating 1,300 jobs
IRELAND and Israel are engaged in a battle to win a €3.4bn Intel Corporation investment to build a cutting edge computer chip manufacturing facility.
Once a location is chosen, it is not clear when construction of the state-of-the-art facility, which will produce market leading 15-nanometer processors, will commence,.
Intel employs thousands at their plant in Co Kildare where the company produces processors.
