Barry plays down talk of revolt against boss Mancini

Gareth Barry insists the Manchester City dressing room is fully behind manager Roberto Mancini.

The England midfielder has already apologised to the Italian for his behaviour last week, when he ended up in student accommodation with team-mates Joe Hart, Shay Given and Adam Johnson on a raucous evening in St Andrews.

But Barry said: "The truth is that there is a group of players working together, working hard and working for the manager, trying to do the right things.

"Everyone in that dressing room and that training complex wants to do their best for Manchester City Football Club.

"We were also very disappointed to lose at Wolves but we know we are not in a desperate position."
