FRIENDS OF DUBLIN HURLING
WELL done to our hurlers on a great win over Limerick at Thurles on Saturday last. It didn't look too good when they trailed by eight points at one stage in the first half. But the comeback started then and good team work led to the lead being reduced to four points at half-time. In the second half, Paul Ryan gave an exhibition of point-taking from all sides of the field. Six points from play and six points from frees is a great return and is the reason why Dublin won the game. Well done to the supporters who travelled. We had two buses and they all really enjoyed the day. Well done to Paul Ryan, who was our Man of the Match. We now look forward to meeting Waterford and hopefully Peter Kelly may be fit to play. Well done to the Dublin senior camogie team, who got a valuable draw against Clare in Newmarket on Fergus. They need a win now against Derry in Derry next Saturday.
