BA to launch Aer Lingus takeover bid

Loss-making Aer Lingus could soon be in the hands of British Airways.
The airline is preparing to swoop in and launch a takeover bid in a move that would see BA boss Willie Walsh regain control of Aer Lingus -- the company he left in 2005.
Current Aer Lingus boss Christoph Mueller has signalled that the airline is considering a number of options.
