St Aidan's service users have a blooming good time at O'Connor Nurseries outing

The annual visit to O'Connor Nurseries at Barnland, Gorey, is always a popular one with the service users of St Aidan's in Gorey and Camolin.

St Aidan's and O'Connors have a long-standing relationship, as O'Connors supply plants to St Aidan's Garden Centre at Millands. During their recent visit, the service users spent the morning with the O'Connor family and staff creating floral planters to take home.

They then enjoyed a barbecue with traditional music and dancing afterwards. Helen O'Connor said that the visit has been a favourite date in the calendar for the past five years. 'They are just a pleasure to have here,' she said.

Sincere thanks went to all who were so generous on the day, including: Green's Berry Farm for sponsoring the strawberries; Helena's Florist, Gorey, for sponsoring the balloons; the Rock Hall for providing the tables, chairs, and crockery; the members of Gorey Ballygarrett CCÉ for the music; the dancers from Blackwater; the nursery staff, and the staff and management of St Aidan's.
