Great entertainment in aid of good cause
OULART audiences have been well entertained as they chipped in to support the work of the day centre at St. John's Hospital in Enniscorthy.
The day centre will receive the proceeds from two nights of Quote Tops' style variety entertainment at the community centre in Oulart.
The show was assembled by pantomime veteran Monica Mae, who performs regularly in St. John's, and it ran for two nights.
A chorus was recruited specially for the occasion, with Liam Behan cast as master of ceremonies.
Those called upon to perform ranged from five year old traditional Irish dancers to 82 year old singer Nicky Furlong.
The show, complete with humour, music and dance, lasted for more than two hours and everyone went home satisfied with what they had seen on stage.
