Traffic delays warning on N25 through Barntown
Motorists heading into Wexford on the N25 from New Ross can expect delays all the way to Christmas as a result of a 'pavement' project from the Maldron roundabout to Holmstown.
Work on the Ballygoman to Knockeen pavement scheme got under way yesterday (Monday) and will take place over the next 10 weeks between the roundabout and the Pikeman sculpture, weather dependant.
'Stop Go' traffic management will be in place for the duration and delays can be expected. Officials said that what was referred to as a pavement project was actually the reinstatement of the road dug up to make way for the natural gas pipeline, and was being fully funded by TII.
