After a very successful few years, Morgan O'Connor has decided to step down as chairperson for Gorey Agricultural Show.

He announced his decision during last week's AGM held in the Loch Garman Arms Hotel.

The committee are deeply grateful to outgoing chairman Morgan for his hard work. He has chaired the committee since the show moved to Gorey.

Treasurer David Grandy read the treasurers report and deemed the show financially healthy for another year.

The new committee is as follows: President - Lorcan Allen; Vice President - Irene Poole; Chairman - William Cecil; Vice Chairman - Morgan O'Connor; Treasurers - David Grandy and Zilpha Furney; Secretary - Stella Jones; Assistant Secretary - Ashley O'Connor.

The Gorey Agricultural Show will take place on Saturday, June 16, in Clonattin, Gorey.
