Neven goes all the way from farm to fork
Celebrity chef Neven Maguire recently visited North Wexford to take a look around the Redmond Farm in Craanford to see why it recently won an Origin Green Bord Bia award.
He was shown around by Paddy and Tommy Redmond and had a lively discussion with farm horticulturist Andrea McCann, who showed him the wide variety of vegetables that are grown for the Amber Springs and Ashdown Park Hotels which are part of the Redmonds' portfolio.
Neven then headed to the Ashdown Park kitchen to prepare with head chef Val Murphy one of the Rowan Tree restaurant's award-winning dishes - a trio of beef tasting plate alongside the cooking of the perfect fillet steak.
The visit was filmed for his new series of Irish Food Trails with RTÉ.
