Health and wellbeing centre launched

A large crowd gathered at the Palms Health and Well being Centre newly opened at Block C, The Avenue, Gorey, which was launched on Friday, by James Browne TD.

The visitors explored the available spaces, that hope to offer a variety of therapies to support physical, mental and emotional well being that bring people together of the Gorey community and surrounding areas.

'We have been both overwhelmed and much encouraged by all the good wishes and support. Here you will find a one stop shop of the very best in alternative and complementary therapies. Centrally located in Gorey, close to Primary Health care teams, and doctors surgeries, we are very well placed to cater for all health and well being needs,' said hypnotherapist Mari Greganm, Manager of The Palms Health and Well being Centre.

Therapists can rent an individual furnished therapy/treatment room and operate with their clients from the one space on a daily or evening basis, booking from the schedule.

'All our therapists are trained to the highest standards and continue to up-skill and improve to provide the highest quality of service possible. Privacy and ethics are a priority at all times,' said Mari.

The therapies on offer too to include acupuncture, Chinese medical herbalism, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, life and career coaching, reflexology, psychotherapy, physical therapy, massage, reiki and rehanni, child and adolescent therapy, cranial somatic therapy among others.

They will also run classes in yoga and pilates as well as life coaching.
