The awards ceremony was for 96 students who achieved 254 As in higher level in their examinations. Mr Finn presented a gold medal to each for their great results.

'Blathnaid did 10 subjects and got nine As and one distinction in English,' added Mr Finn. 'The school is very proud of everyone's achievements and appreciates the work of both students and teachers to get them to this success.'

Guest speaker on the night was Don Ryan from Wexford Orthodontic who congratulated all the students on their great achievements, followed by an inspirational talk from Mr Finn on keeping up the good work.

The evening was very well attended and was a great evening for parents and students alike.
