Gorey-based company Abodoo announced entrepreneur Dan Kiely has invested in their business as they enter their first full year of trading following the launch of the site in September 2017.

Abodoo is an intuitive online platform that unites companies with permanent remote workers globally.

Dan, who has his own award winning company Voxpro, has followed Abodoo since its conception and believes that smart working is the future.

'We are thrilled to be working with Dan,' said Vanessa Tierney, co-founder of Abodoo. 'The investment means so much more than a simple cash transaction. His experience in international growth will be invaluable to us as we grow.'

The business has a strong presence in Ireland and is widely supported. Sponsors of the company Open Eir are encouraging candidates to register online to enable them to find a career which fits with their lifestyle and cuts costly commutes.

'Candidates are already registering from around the world,' added Mrs Tierney. 'Dan's experience will enable us to capitalize on this with regional and in-country presence and international marketing.'
