Crescent Quay works to begin
Improvement works at the Crescent Quay in Wexford town are due to begin this month, according to a report presented to the members of Wexford County Council by the local authority CEO, Tom Enright.
In the report Mr Enright said the proposed works will 'enhance and upgrade' the public realm in that area of the town.
The Part VIII approval for the proposed work was granted by the local authority in November and according to Mr Enright 'works are planned to commence on-site in January'.
It's expected the appointment of consultants will also take place in January relating to essential works required at the Ballast office to prevent it from falling into disrepair.
