The Little Book of North Wexford was officially launched by Gorey Chamber of Commerce on Saturday at the Gorey Tourist Information Office.

CEO of Gorey Chamber Diarmuid Devereux launched the Little Book before the busy summer season and said tourism is an important sector within the local economy.

Gorey Chamber is committed to supporting all of its tourism members over the coming season. The Book is an important reference guide for all visitors.

'It is one of the most popular books in the county,' added Mr Devereux. 'Not only is it free, but it covers Gorey and North Wexford specifically.'

Now in its seventh year, the Book is broken up into fun for kids, live the adventure, explore the culture, places to eat and meet, and shopping and business, which gives examples of businesses who have supported the publication of the little book under these headings.

It has proven an invaluable resource for many tourists as they enjoy all the district has to offer.

Gorey Chamber and North Wexford Tourism remain committed to providing this essential resource for tourists and local alike.
