Tidy Towns team pays tributes to residents

KILMUCKRIDGE Tidy Towns committee congratulated local residents on their hard work over the past year, at the prize presentation ceremony for their Garden Competition.

A celebratory coffee evening was held at the KMH, and the winning entrants were presented with stone plaques which they can now proudly display. The overall winners were the Beechbrook Park Estate.

It's been a busy summer for the hard-working Tidy Towns Group, and they were rewarded with a favourable judge's report in this year's competition, and an increase of two marks, continuing their upward progress.

The committee already has plans for the coming year and would greatly welcome new members coming on board to lend a hand. A huge thank you was sent to all who turned out for the various clean ups which were organised during the year.

The coffee evening also served as a fundraiser for the group's work, and thanks were sent to all who donated.
