Public voting is now open for hospitality awards
The South East Radio Hospitality Awards were launched at the Amber Springs Hotel in Gorey, supported by Wexford County Council.
During the launch, a live broadcast from the hotel brought with it discussions on tourism in Wexford and across Ireland.
Online voting is now open for hotel, bar, restaurant and tourism categories and all will be revealed at the annual hospitality awards ball, which will take place on Monday, September 9 at The Amber Springs.
'The awards seek to recognise and reward excellence in service, quality, value, experience, creativity and innovation,' said Liam Dwyer of South East Radio. The awards ceremony will be a black tie gala ball and Alan Corcoran will be MC on the night, with tickets on sale in August.
Voting concludes on June 26 at 12 noon.
In the tourism section, the public are asked to nominate best attraction, best leisure activity, best festival, best heritage site, best cultural experience or best glamping, camping or caravan.
In the hotel, bar and restaurant sections, which include best dining experience, chef of the year, as well as overall prizes in each category.
