Play auditions

THE RASPER Players will hold auditions for their 2013 Three Act Festival Play 'Animal Farm' by Peter Hall on Wednesday, November 14, at Gorey Library.

There will be auditions for children for a playing age of nine to 12 years of age (both boys and girls) at 5 p.m. Adult auditions will take place at 7.30 p.m.

We are also seeking both singers and musicians for this production. So whether you are interested in acting, singing or playing music for this play, we would love to see you at auditions.

This is an adaptation of George Orwell's classic satire on Stalinism, with the animals taking over their farm by means of a revolutionary coup, but discovering that although all animals are supposed to be equal, some are more equal than others.

This production will tour to a maximum of eight venues across the country during the months of February and March. A parent or guardian will have to accompany the children on tour.

For further information on auditions or being involved in this production in other aspects other than performance please contact director Stephen Acton on 085 8229701.
