A large crowd gathered at June Hill's house in Ballydaniel, Camolin for the fifth annual coffee day in aid of St Catherine's Church in Camolin.

More than €1,400 was raised at the event which will go towards the upkeep of the church.

'We were kept busy all day,' said June. 'We were blessed with the weather as the day before was miserable as well as the day after.'

June and her team of helpers were busy throughout the day with a steady stream of guests calling to the house to taste the delicious baked goods, teas, and coffees.

There was also a monster raffle on the day to help raise additional funds for the upkeep of the church.

'I would just like to thank all of the helpers, to those who donated spot prizes and to everyone for the amazing support,' said June who is already turning her mind to next year's annual event at her home.
