Saoirse on Stage - The annual production of Saoirse on Stage takes place in Gorey Little Theatre on Saturday, November 30, from pm to 8.30pm.
Created by the Saoirse Training Centre as part of St Aidan's services, all money raised from ticket sales will go back into the development of the programme.
Tickets are €7 and are available from St Aidan's Services and the Saoirse Training centre.
The popular variety concert will get everyone in the mood for Christmas.
Polish art exhibition
An exhibition on World War II in Poland with artist Eamonn Carter will run for the month of November in Gorey Library.
Eamonn was born in the 1950s, eight years after the horrors of the Holocaust and concentration camps were becoming fully known and his paintings exude an uncomfortable silence, not always seen as an appropriate response.

The club meet every Wednesday in St Michael's Parish Hall, with play starting at 7 p.m. sharp. New members are welcome.
The Annual Liam Mellows Commemoration in Castletown takes place on Sunday, December 8. It will commence with Mass at 11 a.m. in St Patrick's Church, Castletown, following on with the Colour Party leading on to the adjoining Cemetery.
The event will be chaired by Lorcan Allen and prayers will be said by the Parish Priest while oration will be delivered by Senator Mark Daly. The event will be followed by light refreshments in the Golden Anchor, Castletown.
The Christmas dinner will take place at 8 p.m. in the Loch Garman Arms Hotel on Saturday, December 14.

Courtown tourism AGM
All are welcome to attend the AGM of the Courtown Tourism Promotion group which will take place at 8.30 p.m. in Courtown's Taravie Hotel on Tuesday, November 26.
GAA coaching for beginners to senior infants boys is on Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. in the Ballygarrett GAA hall.
All boys are welcome where they will be coached in a fun and enjoyable way on the skills of Gaelic games that helps to develop the health and social wellbeing of the child, and parents are asked to remain for duration of the session.
The youths' skills and conditioning training also takes place on Tuesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to all boys under 13, under 15 and under 17 teams.
Activities will help youth players to prepare for the demands of Gaelic games.

Social dancing will take place in Kilanerin Parish Hall, Friday December 13, at 9 p.m. and Limelite will be back by popular demand.
All money raised on the night will go towards Gorey Musical Society.
Everyone is invited to Gorey Methodist Church on Sunday, December 1, at 7.30 p.m. for a great night of music and carols.
Music will be provided by soprano Maria Hughes and baritone Tim Shaffrey will be accompanied by David Howes on piano.
Bible study continues on Wednesdays in Gorey Methodist Church Hall at 7.30 p.m. as the lives of characters from the Old Testament are explored.
Wednesday, November 27, will discover David's God-like character and the theme that it is difficult to love those who have hurt us deeply. Saul slandered and falsely accused David who refused to take revenge.
All national school children aged five to 12 are invited to come to Gorey Methodist Church hall on Saturday, November 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for some fun and games where they will discover what the bible teaches about faith and friendship and all children are welcome.
Led by Michaela Bertsch, the workshop will show adult participants two different types of folds.
These are Quick Folds and Mandala/Star Folds.
Origami is known to help improve memory and concentration. The mandala/star fold will focus on mindfulness, inner calmness and stress relief.
The finished creation will boost self-confidence, creativity and inner freedom - all this is great for our mental health.
The workshop takes place from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturday, November 30.

The launch of the book 'Taking Flight', an anthology of different forms of writing from Gorey Writers Group will be launched on Thursday, November 28, at 7 p.m. in Gorey Library.
This is the second anthology of poetry, short stories and memoirs written by the multi-talented Gorey Writers Group, with contributions by over 25 writers.
This book will be launched by Jackie Hayden, marketing manager of Sony Music and member of Hot Press crew, who wrote a Phil Lynott biography called 'My Boy'.
Gift bags for homeless
VTOS Gorey in conjunction with High Hopes Helping Homeless are collecting gift bags for the homeless from now until December 13.
The drop-off point is the Gorey Adult Learning Centre at the Civic Square, Gorey.
Suggestions for what to put inside the bags include clothing such as hats, scarves, gloves, socks, underwear, as well as food and hygiene products like packet soups, shower gel, soap, facecloths, toothbrushes, sweets or biscuits or even pens and paper.
You do not have to include everything and you can add a treat you think might be appropriate like a small game, puzzle book or even a Christmas card.
A student craft fair will be held in Courtown's Ocean Point from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 29.
There will be no darts until the new year, usually held in Christ Church Hall every Tuesday at 2.00pm
A re-starting date will be notified later.
December 10 will see the annual Christmas Dinner in the Ashdown Park Hotel costing €25 starting at 5.30 p.m.,
Get your tickets in the Loch Garman Arms on Fridays and admission will be given by ticket only.
Non-members are very welcome to check out activities by dropping into the Loch Garman Arms on Fridays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and there is some activity on most days of the week.

Collections for Gorey Disabled carriage driving and wheelchairs group will be held outside masses at St Michael's church, Gorey on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.
All donations big or small will be appreciated.
