GAA notes

There was wins recently for the minor footballers in the championship and junior footballers in the league. The minors defeated Kilrush 3-08 to 1-07 while the juniors defeated Sarsfields.

Our new adult club jersey for the season ahead has gone back to basics with a more retro design and return to the slightly darker green in keeping with the first time Blackwater wore this jersey design, back in the mid 50's (different styles and colours before this). A massive thank you to the jersey sponsor David and Elaine of O'Leary Civil Group, who are based in Brisbane, Australia. Its always brilliant when a company sponsors you a set of jersey's but when someone does so, not even living in the country any more is truly amazing and shows what great support the club have. We are extremely grateful.

Membership is now due. It can be paid to any club member and is due before March 31.

Player €150, Player and partner €160, Student €70, Non-player €60, Non-player and partner €70.
