Ballycanew: Ballyoughter Patron - The Ballyoughter Patron and blessing of graves will take place on Sunday, June 30, at 2 p.m. followed by annual field day in the Ballyoughter National School.

Golf classic

Ballycanew National School are holding a golf classic on June 21 in Courtown Golf Club. This is their main fundraiser for this year and all money raised will be used to clear the cost of a refurbishment of the school in recent years. Team of four €160. Tee Times from midday. The Monamolin Patron will take place next Sunday. June 16 at 2 p.m. (There will be no 10 a.m. Mass that day.

Shedfest

Tickets for our annual Shedfest are currently on sale. This year the event at our grounds in Buffers Alley will take place on Saturday, June 22, with the headline act Mark McCabe. Also performing on the night will be Luke Cosgrave and the Frisky Gypsies.

Tickets cost €25 if purchased in advance or €30 on the night. Tickets are available to purchase online through the Shedfest FB page or on Buffers Alley GAA website page.
