Killenagh broke through our defence early in the second-half to score a great goal from a corner but Callum Byrne smashed home a screamer to level the sides in the dying minutes of the game.

On Tuesday last, July 9, the under-13 lads lost out to a brilliant St Anne's team in Monageer. It was a ding-dong game that see-sawed throughout but the stronger St Anne's deservedly won by 4-7 to 5-10 in the end.

The previous evening, the under-8 girls hosted two Oulart-The Ballagh camogie teams in Monageer and played some very exciting camogie in both games. Well done to Abbey Rigley and Réaltín Burke, who were the players of the week.

The under-11 boys, some of whom had already played for the under-13 team earlier in the week, took on two Blackwater teams on Wednesday night, July 10, and came out on top in two tough, no compromise matches.

The previous Sunday, the seventh., the under-13 hurlers triumphed in the Davidstown under-13 hurling blitz, claiming the Bill Hassey cup by beating Askamore, Adamstown and then progressing to beat Bunclody in the final.
