Askamore Text Alert are delighted to have processed a substantial number of successful applications for personal alarms through the Senior Alert Scheme. These alarms enable people to live independently knowing Tunstall Emergency Response operators are available to connect with them 24 hours a day. These alarms afford great peace of mind not only to the users, but to their family and friends. The cost of the equipment plus monitoring fees are covered by Pobal for the first year. 45 Card Drive
A very successful 45 Card Drive is ongoing in the Coolgreany Inn on each Friday night at 8.30 p.m., everyone is very welcome to come along for a good night of craic at the cards, and some lovely finger food thrown in for good measure. So please join us if you enjoy a game of 45.
GAA Healthy Club

Pilgrimage to Lourdes - The annual diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from May 11 to May 16. Each year we run a parish lottery draw to select a person to represent the parish of Craanford-Monaseed. Entry to the lottery costs €10 and is available before and after Masses in Craanford this weekend and for the next few weekends. The winning entry will be drawn at 10.30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, February 3. Your support is greatly appreciated.
'Learn the basics' With Pat Redmond six-week programme to teach every parent how to practice the basic hurling and camogie skills with your children at home. 45 Card Drive
There will be a 45 card drive on Tuesday night in Murphy's Kilanerin at 9 p.m. proceeds in aid of friends of Gorey Hospital All support would be much appreciated.
The competition side of Opportunity Knocks will get under way on Friday, February 8, and February 15 with the final schedule for Friday the 22nd. A general meeting for all interested KBCDA Suistainable Energy Community will take place on February 17 at midday in Shamrock Hall.

There was no jackpot winner on the 28th. There were three match-three winners. The numbers were 9, 10, 15 and 17. The next draw for €6,500, takes place in Noel's on February 11.
Adult football and hurling training has started in Kilanerin and in the Rock. This could be a very good year for the four teams. So come along to the matches and enjoy the craic on the sidelines.
