Skerries Harps camp a great success

A NEW-STYLE summer camp organised by Skerries Harps has proved to be an outstanding success.

The ever-growing GAA Club kick-started its season of summer camps with a new multi-sport approach this year to the annual fun-filled programme.

Designed by the Clubs GAA Games Promotion Officer, Stephen Fitzgerald and Club Coach, Johnny Beggs, the new format included a range of other sports including Aussie Rules football, Rounders and Soccer as well as the traditional Hurling and Gaelic Football activities.

The feedback from kids and parents has been very positive. With a fun camp, the great weather and the progress on the Clubhouse development, its all happy faces in the Harps this summer.

Further camps this summer include a football camp for children aged 13-16 from August 6 to 8 and the Kelloggs Cul Camp from August 11 to 15 for boys and girls aged six to 13. All are welcome. Book early to avoid disappointment.
