You know it's Christmas in Lusk when the local Tidy Towns release their annual array of Christmas cards and calendars celebrating life in the village.

The cards and calendars depicting scenes from the beautiful heritage village are sent all over the globe to Lusk natives who have ventured abroad.

The beautifully produced cards and calendars bring a little bit of home to those who find themselves in exile from the village and let them know that those back home are thinking of them this Christmas.

Murray's of Lusk provided the venue for the launch of the cards and calendars, this year which was well attended by locals, members of the Tidy Towns committee and local politicians.

It was the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Eoghan O'Brien who had the honour of launching the cards and calendars, this year.

among the politicians in attendance were Darragh O'Brien TD, Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Eoghan O'Brien, Cllr Brian Dennehy, Cllr Adrian Henchy and Cllr Darragh Butler.

The cards and calendars are now available in various outlets around Lusk and make are perfect to let your loved ones living away from Lusk know that you are thinking of them this Christmas and a little part of them will always belong in this charming village at the heart of Fingal.

A huge well done to Lusk Tidy Towns for their efforts in producing the Christmas cards and calendars.
