THREE charities are set to benefit from a mouth-watering, finger-licking fundraiser held at Chlann Mhuire GAA Club in Naul.

The first-time event was a great success with a whopping €2,400 raised for the three worthy causes, namely the Irish Wheelchair Association, Remember Us and the Lighthouse Trust Summer School.

The organisers of the cake sale and coffee morning would like to thank all their family, friends, neighbours and club members who worked so hard to ensure the event was a success.

Special mention to the children who created colourful rainbow loom bracelets, the sale of which made a significant contribution to the amount raised.

The organisers would also like to thank all those who donated items and baked beautiful cakes, helped prepare for the event and of course got involved in the clean-up operation afterwards.

They would like to thank a number of local businesses who supported the event, namely Daybreak Naul, Serenity Beauty Salon, Snip and Set, Centra in Stamullen and SuperValu in Balbriggan, SuperValu in Pavilions in Swords, Aidan O'Brien Butchers in Skerries, Nature's Decor in Lusk, and Alliance Packaging in Cork who donated beautiful cake boxes and bags.

Thanks was also extended to Chlann Mhuire GAA club for allowing use of their premises.

The Lighthouse Trust Summer School offers conductive education to develop the potential of children with cerebral palsy. Further information available at
