Fingal County Council is delighted to work in conjunction with The Football Association of Ireland to announce the upcoming Aviva Soccer Sisters Summer camp in Swords.

The three day camp takes place at Swords Celtic FC, Balheary, Swords from Wednesday, August 21 to Friday, August 23 from 10am to 12pm each day and costs €25.

The camps are open to girls aged 6-13 years with the aim of increasing the number of girls playing soccer and to improve their skills in a fun, structured and safe coaching environment. As the camps are girls only, it will give the participants an opportunity to participate amongst their peers.

Each participant will receive a Special Soccer Sisters playing kit, as well as three days of top quality coaching.

Speaking about the program, FAI/Fingal Development Officer, Jamie Wilson said: 'This is a great programme to introduce girls to soccer or for girls to improve their skills.

'I'm delighted that Swords Celtic are actively trying to increase the number of girls participating in the club and subsequently increase the number of girls' teams at the club.'

To book a place on the camp contact Jamie Wilson via text or email only or Sandra Harvey in Swords Celtic Women's Section on 086-8426640.

The camp is limited to 40 players so book early to avoid disappointment!
