Swords ICA marks its 73rd anniversary with celebration dinner

Swords Streets

It is a big happy birthday to Swords ICA who turned the ripe old age of 73 recently and shows no sign of closing down.

The ladies of the local Swords Guild of the ICA gathered at Kettle's Country House Hotel to celebrate 73 years of the Guild with a slap up meal, complete with birthday cake.

It was a wonderful night of celebration for the Guild presided over by Guild president, Patricia O'Toole and Vice President and stalwart member of the Swords Guild, Dorreen McKittrick.

The Swords Guild of the I@CA meet at the Base Centre in Swords at 8pm every Thursday from September to early June and host a huge range of activities for its members.

It is always open to new members and promises a warm and friendly atmosphere at the thriving Guild.

The local Guild is now just two years away from an historic 75th and is still going strong, maintaining the ideals of the association and having a lot of fun in the process.
