Students get tour of PayPal offices
PayPal hosted a number of transition year students from around Fingal at its Fingal offices, recently.
The students, all from local community colleges and schools, completed a week of work experience with the company, at the end of which they received certificates during a mini graduation ceremony.
As well as gaining an insight into working at PayPal, the students participated in workshops and sessions covering CV preparation, interview skills, project management, marketing, budgeting and corporate social responsibility.
Annette Hickey, PayPal's Vice President, Global Customer Solutions, Europe, Middle East & Africa, guided the students around the business and fielded a lot of great questions from the curious students.
some of the local schools involved were Skerries Community College, Portmarnock Community School, Ashbourne Community School, Malahide Community School and Colaiste Choilm in Swords.
