Planning Applications Received:

Hazel Developments for the partial change of use of offices previously approved under (F95A/0109) to specialist medical healthcare centre at Broomfield Business Park, Broomfield, Malahide.

Extension of duration of permission granted:

Simon Coyle for modifications to a previous permission ( Reg. Ref. F01A/1544) for a nursing home extension to existing St. Doolaghs House (Protected Structure). The modifications comprise an increase in the number of bedrooms from 45 to 52, a reduction in footprint of the nursing home to within the walled garden, a reduction in the administration area in to main building, to provide a carpark/plant area in the lower ground floor complete with access, maintaining existing arched entrance of walled garden, restoring a link incorporating the existing garden wall between the garden and St. Doolaghs House. The development includes all associated site works and landscaping, connection to main sewerage, with access from Malahide Road at St Doolaghs House (Protected Structure), St Doolaghs Park, Malahide Road, Balgriffin.

Additional Information Requested:

A Green & P Wodhams for (a) dormer extension to attic to provide 2 bedrooms ensuite, (b) extension to side and rear of ground floor to provide utility, extended family area, gym and store (c) alterations to first floor window to front and (d) replace existing pedestrian with new vehicular entrance at 82 Ard na Mara, Malahide.

Permission Granted: Brian Garvan for mews development at lands to rear with existing vehicular access to Ard Na Mara, consisting of demolition of existing garage, removal of some existing trees and construction of one detached one-off 4 bedroom 2 storey residential dwelling (ground floor and converted roof space at first floor) of ca. 231m sq gross internal area, with double pitched roof and 6 roof lights, widening of existing vehicular access to Ard Na Mara, 2 parking spaces, on site surface water disposal, and associated site works and boundary treatment at Rosslea, Dublin Road, Malahide.
