Driving success at Balcarrick Golf Club
Balcarrick golf club's Captains Drive hit it straight down the fairway with a hugely successful day.
On the golf course, there was a thirteen hole competition in the morning and a further nine hole contest in the afternoon, both with shotgun starts.
In honour of the club's Scottish Captain, Jim Robertson there was haggis on the menu for the occaion and the sound of bagpipers could be heard across the course.
The winners of the 13 hole competition were a team made up of Brian Nevin Richi9e Bisset, Noel dunne and Eamon Creamer.
In the afternoon, the winning team in the nine hole competition was made up of John Moore, Neil Lloyd, Pat O'Donoghue and Martin Cahill.
The Nearest the Pin competition was John Goss.
It was a great day for the two captains of the club, particularly, and their families.
Men's Capain, Jim Robertson and Lady Captain, Laura OFarrell got the day underway by drving off. They were joined by President, Teresa Ranson and their vice captains.
