Birds of a feather flock together for table quiz
The Fingal branch of Birdwatch Ireland put down their binoculars and stepped out of the hide for a night to fundraise with a table quiz.
Skerries Rugby Club played host to the event which as you would expect, had a few questions thrown in with a distinctly ornothological bent.
Proceeds from the event will go toward wildbird conservation in the Fingal area and juding by the turnout, there were plenty of people willing to support the worthy cause.
Quizmaster on the night was Paul Gorey who kept the night moving along and congratulations is due to the organising committee who put the event together.
Due to its location on the east coast there is a good variety of coastal habitat to be found for wild birds which has made for an active branch of Birdwatch Ireland.
