Gourmet Food Parlour undergo tasty expansion in Fingal

Gourmet Food Parlour has increased its presence in Fingal with an a new restaurant in Skerries, bringing to three the company's outlets in Fingal.

With restaurants already in Swords and Malahide, this new Skerries Gourmet Food Parlour makes the restaurant chain a significant employer in Fingal.

The Skerries restaurant combined with another Gourmet Food Parlour set to open in Galway will add 100 jobs to the company's workforce.

Pat Breen, TD. Minister of State with special responsibility for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection joined Lorraine Heskin Managing Director of Gourmet Food Parlour catering and restaurant group at their restaurant in Swords to announce details of 100 new jobs to be filled over the next 12 months in Skerries and Galway.

The group will create up to 100 jobs across the two new locations and their ever growing catering division.

According to the company, the importance of using quality local ingredients together with creating a relaxed quirky vibe in the restaurants has culminated in the announcement of the expansion of the highly successful group which already employs over 240 people across Dublin. The Gourmet Food Parlour group plans to commence a serious recruitment drive over the coming months with the 100 jobs to include head chefs, sous chefs, chef de parties, front of house staff, barista's, bar staff, catering kitchen staff, event specialists.
