Airside Citroen hold fashion event to help raise funds for two local groups

Airside Citroën hosted an exciting fashion event in their showroom recently to coincide with the Citroën Open Week.

There was over 140 attendees at the event who were treated to a night of fashion and fun with a Catwalk Fashion Show hosted by

Citroën Ambassador, Shirley Lane, featuring all the latest clothing trends from the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Guests also enjoyed a selection of canapes and refreshments and had the opportunity to check out the exciting New Citroën C3 Aircross, Compact SUV.

Airside Citroën is owned and managed by Avanacar Ltd, a subsidiary of Brightstone Trading Ltd. The dealership is managed by Dealer Principal and Director, Damien Smyth.

Speaking about the fashion event, Damien commented: 'We were delighted to host this special event to help raise funds for two local groups, Loreto College Swords and Robyn's Life Trust.

'Being an active member of our local community is very important to us at Airside Citroën so we were thrilled so many people from the local area turned out to support the event.'

Some €2,000 was raised through ticket sales from the event and will be split between Loreto College Swords and Robyn's Life Trust.

Robyn's Life Trust was set up in the name of Robyn Smyth is a 13-year-old local girl who was diagnosed at the age of three with a rare form of childhood cancer.

'After months of aggressive treatment Robyn entered remission but the neuroblastoma has returned and having exhausted all available treatment in Ireland, and in order to have the best chance of survival, Robyn is taking part in trial treatment in the USA.
