1 Australian group The Mae Trio make their first trip to Irish shores this July, taking in the Seamus Ennis centre as part of their tour on Friday 18th. Lauded in their home country and recipients of several awards including The Folk Alliance Australia Youth Award and the Maton Class Act award, the girls, Elsie and Maggie Rigby and Anita Hillman, are beginning to win audiences in the UK and abroad. Their harmonic vocals and vast range of instruments (banjo, ukulele, guitar, cello, violin and bass) are sure to appeal to Irish audiences. Tickets €13 from or 01 802 0898

2 Monty Python fans will be flocking to Swords on Sunday when what is likely to be the last live performances ever by the legendary comedy group will be broadcast live to the big screen in Movies@Swords direct from the O2 in London. Dubbed the 'Last Night of the Pythons', the event is not to be missed by any fan of the ground breaking comedy troupe, made up of John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, and although he has passed on, Graham Chapman has a 'presence' in the show too. You can catch this last chance to see Monty Python live (mostly) at Movies@Swords on Sunday, July 20 at 7pm.

3 Duffys' pub in Malahide is continuing its excellent line up of weekend entertainment. On Friday it is the turn of Harmony Street, while on Saturday, the Full Moon Boogie Band will take to the stage. On Sunday there will be trad music from 7pm to 9.30pm.

5 Andre Rieu's 10th Anniversary Concert will be screened live at movies@swords on Saturday..
