This week sees the Skerries Theatre Group present A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller in the Little Theatre.

The Skerries theatre is the venue for the play which will run from Wednesday to Saturday starting on February 13 and running up to February 23.

This 1955 play tells the story of Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman from Brooklyn, New York.

When he takes in two illegal immigrants from Sicily into his home, the repercussions for himself, his wife and her niece lead to a dramatic and riveting climax.

The talented local cast for the play includes David Diebold as Eddie, Aisling Coleman as his wife and Amie Doyle as her niece.

Newcomer Ollie Grimes joins this cast of twelve actors for this fine play.

Opening night is already sold out for the eagerly awaited production from this talented local theatre group.

On Valentine's Day there will be a particularly special production of the play complete with chocolate treats for the audience, for the night that is in it.

It promises to be a great night of local theatre in the hands of a talented cast and an experienced theatre group with plenty of great shows in their back catalogue.

The playwright is a master of the craft and the Arthur Miller play is sure to have audiences enthralled at the Little Theatre for the next couple of weeks.
