Malahide choir plays to a packed house at Seabury Church

Fergal Maddock

It was a full house at Seabury Church for yet another wonderful performance by the acclaimed Enchiriadis Treis.

The Malahide-based choir's show was inspired by classical songs from the movies and it was wonderfully received by the audience.

As well as superb musical accompaniment by the orchestra, the choir was joined by Sylvia O Brien, Mary Callan-Clark and by Fingal Children's Choir. The choir was conducted by Cathal Clinch.

Classics from movies such as The Mission, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Thin Red Line and many more well known favourites were performed on the night.

Enchiriadis Treis is a mixed adult choir of about 120 voices, based in Malahide.

Founded by Dr. Marion Doherty Hayden in 1994, it is committed to achieving musical excellence through performance of the great classical choral works. It is always looking for new members to get involved.
