Last chance to see Moonglow

A reminder that the last chances to see Moonglow at the Little Theatre in Skerries, is this week.

Maxine, a feisty, Alzheimer's victim, doesn't want to move into a nursing facility. But when she meets Joe, a widower who shares her love for dance, her outlook begins to change. Although the two clash when lucid, their hazy memories overlap, and they begin an affair that rejuvenates and fulfils them. But can these lovers - played simultaneously by an elderly twosome and a young, vivacious couple - stay together despite their families' wishes and their fading vitality?

This modern, heart-warming play has been described as "sad, poignant, and mercilessly funny.'

First-time Director Adam Burke directs Rita McCarthy, Paul Keogh, Amie Doyle, Paul Canning, Dave McGloughlin, Aisling Coleman - and newcomer Claire O'Brien.

The play runs in the Little Theatre until October 26, Wednesday to Saturday at 8.15pm.
