Lady Barbalade is a female Barbershop quartet formed in 2015 from members of the acclaimed Enchiriadis Chamber Choir in Malahide and has won prizes in choral and Barbershop festivals all around Ireland and are the current national female quartet gold medallists of the Irish association of Barbershop Singers.

A spokesperson for the group says: 'We also sing with Blingmasters, a barbershop chorus formed just last year and based in Fingal. Blingmasters won gold in the IABS female national chorus competition in October last. As a result of these wins, the idea of a 'Gold Rush' tour of Ireland was born. In each location along the tour we will be joined by other gold medal winning choruses and quartets to showcase the amazing vocal talent we have here in Ireland.'

Lady Barbalade has invited The Newfangled Four to come to Ireland from sunny southern California and sing in the 'Gold Rush' concerts in Dublin, Cork, Birr and Castlebar with friends from the Barbershop community. These gents are one of the top 10 barbershop quartets in the world and are known for their entertaining and harmonically brilliant sets with real comedic edge and are one of the best loved quartets in the world.

Lucky for Dublin residents, you have two opportunities to see Lady Barbalade and the brilliant The Newfangled Four. Each concert will be wonderfully varied. We will be performing in the Sugar Club on September 8, 2019 alongside Blingmasters Chorus and the five-time gold medal winners 4 in a Bar.

On September 13 Lady B and The Newfan gled four will be performing in Rascals Brewery with special guests The Ramparts who have featured on BBC's Pitch Battle and Ireland's Got Talent. See links to purchase tickets below. Gold Rush Concert Tour - Rascals Brewery

They are also hosting two 'Coaching Under Glass' events, one of which will be in Malahide on September 8.
