'We have over 40 people enrolled in classes in, Tin Whistle, fiddle, bodhran and banjo at beginners and improvers level, with nearly a 50/50 split between adults and children.
'We have a great committee and excellent teachers and we hope to go from strength to strength.
We will be holding some slow sessions for members and their families during the year.'
The group spokesperson said:'We encourage members to volunteer for some tasks and to come on board on the committee, so we can form a strong little community of musicians and people who love the language and song.;
