This year there will be 70 Competition Classes catering for all the family, with prize money in excess of €600. In addition to this two perpetual Silver Salvers sponsored and presented by Fingal County Council will be awarded to the Best Exhibit in Flowers & Pot Plants, and to the Best Exhibit in Vegetables & Fruit…the battle of the Salvers starts here!

There will be Competition Classes in Flowers; Pot Plants; Vegetables & Fruit; Baking; Handcrafts; Flower Arranging & Floral Art; Children under 9 years & Children under 15 years. So, if you have Super Sweet Pea, Romantic Roses, Classic Cabbage or Prolific Pot Plants why not bring them along to our marque in the Farmers Field. Are you an avid Baker or enthusiastic Flower Arranger or are Handcrafts your guilty pleasure, we would love to have your entries? Children under 9 years and under 15 years are also encouraged with classes for Miniature Gardens, Models made from Fruit & Veg, Painting and much more.

There will also be colourful floral displays from the Irish Sweet Pea Society, the Irish Dahlia Society, and the Irish Fuchsia & Pelargonium Society. Members from the many Gardening Clubs in the North Dublin area will be on hand to inform the public about their activities and events that take place each weekend from July to September. There will be FREE demonstrations & workshops on gardening topics all weekend, including how to get started and how to grow plants from seed or cuttings and some plant sales at knock-down prices, so come on down and GET PLANTING!

The Flavours of Fingal Gardening & Horticultural Show takes place in Newbridge House, Donabate on Sat 29th/Sun 30th June and you will find the Gardening & Horticultural Marquee in the Farmers Field.
