Students from Enniscorthy Vocational College participated in an event recently to highlight awareness around homelessness.

The college's 6th Year leaving cert applied students took part in the 'Sleep Out For Homelessness' event along with teachers, Majella Stafford, Conor Dempsey and Aileen Walsh.

The students handed out sponsorship cards for the event and all money raised will be presented to Focus Ireland in the coming weeks.

The students were very appreciative of the support they received from their fellow students and staff members in the school.

The sleep out initiative was organised as part of the students' 'contemporary task' as part of their LCA year.
