A trio of young bands will be flying the flag for the local music scene with a special show in Holohan's next Monday, May 7.

Already gaining some wonderful attention, Enniscorthy indie pop/rock four piece Ten Ounce Mouse will headline the evening's entertainment.

The group, consisting of Luc Power on vocals, Brandon Murphy on guitar and keys, Jags Denby Atkinson on bass and Michael O'Connor on drums, has already earned some serious reviews for their catchy songs, driving rhythms and fantastic melodies.

The lads draw influence and comparisons to the likes of Joy Division, The Pixies, The Smiths and Car Seat Headrest and they can't wait to get back to the Holohan's stage following a successful outing last time around.

They will be supported on the night by energetic Gorey band The Mistakes and young Enniscorthy cover band The Quadratones who cut their chops through projects such as the FDYS Music Box and Room to Record.

The show kicks of from 7 p.m. and entry on the night is free, so people are encouraged to get out and support the local music scene and show this great trio of acts some support.
