Young performers arrived from all over the county to The Presentation Centre recently as the Colle Voce Performance School hosted its 2018 showcase. A wonderfully varied show, it saw nearly forty students aged from six all the way up to twenty-one take to the stage, performing everything from traditional Irish songs to musical theatre and classical numbers.

While owner Joanne McCabe had been teaching music and singing privately for a number of year's beforehand, Colle Voce first came into existence four years ago and has gone from strength to strength since. Covering the whole county, the school has its main bases in Enniscorthy, New Ross and Clonroche and offers Musical Theatre Group Classes, singing lessons, music exam preparation and various workshops for all ages.

Quite a bit of work had gone into the evening's show as some of the students took to the stage to perform in front of a live audience for the very first time.

'It was a great night,' said Joanne. 'We put on the showcase every year and all of the students do their bit. They were brilliant on the night and the audience seemed to really enjoy it.'

The Colle Voce Performance school is always looking to recruit new students and you can find more information by checking out their Facebook page and website.
