A wonderful Christmas tradition was impeccably observed at St Aidan's Cathedral as singers from right across town joined in harmony for the annual Christmas Carol Service. A great crowd arrived into the cathedral to soak up the festive atmosphere at what has become one of the staples of the Christmas calendar.

Among those performing on the night were the fantastic Enniscorthy Choral Society, St Aidan's Cathedral Choir, St Senan's Parish Choir along with soloist Lorna Mahon who performed a stirring rendition of 'O Holy Night' to pin-drop silence from the audience.

Among the pieces on the set-list were favourites such as 'Adeste Fideles', 'Silent Night' and 'Do You Hear What I Hear' along with a special rendition of the Enniscorthy carol.

Those present on the night were left feeling full of Christmas spirit as they left the beautiful Cathedral building and praise was once again heaped on the organisers for another magical Christmas evening.
