Young fans of magical fiction were spellbound recently as they attended the Harry Potter Night at Enniscorthy Library. A wonderful evening, it saw the library transform into Hogwarts for the night and each of the enthusiastic pupils were sorted into their respective houses from Hufflepuff to Slytherin and Griffyndor to Ravenclaw!

This year's theme was 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them'. Vanessa Kirby and Esther Ebbs helped the children through a special reading of the screenplay before they enjoyed some more hands on fun.

As everyone enjoys a nice treat, the youngsters got to show their culinary prowess by whipping up some magical buns, some of which showed some wonderful imagination.

The kids then got to enjoy them while watching some of their favourite scenes from the film bringing to a close another successful celebration of all things Harry Potter.

The Library staff thanked those who came along and took part on the night and encouraged parents and children alike to keep an eye out for future events taking place in Enniscorthy Library.
