People will be rounded up from all over the county and brought to the Marquee in Farmleigh as the Sheep Shindig returns to the picturesque grounds of Marshalstown/Castledockrell GAA Club on Saturday, June 9.

The major event and fundraiser was last held back in 2016, when it was intended to be a one off. However, such was the initial event's success and popularity, that it's now back by popular demand, with organisers hopeful that they can recreate and improve upon the magic that was created the first night.

The format will remain the same and the night will see novelty sheep racing, live music from Lee & Fitzy and Fiesta along with a DJ til late, full bar and a delicious barbecue, along with some special surprises along the way.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and there will be car parking facilities on site, along with free buses in operation to the event until 11.30 p.m. from Enniscorthy and surrounding areas.

Tickets are now available for €15 from Marshalstown/Castledockrell adult players and all committee members. For more information and updates, check out the Sheep Shindig 2018 Facebook page.
